Originally constructed in the 1950’s as a manufacturing location for a company known as Dorris Gear, the Page Business Center building required extensive renovation for its future intended use as speculative office space. The ownership partner companies, comprised of Greenstreet Realty, GS&S Construction and Treanor Architects, have made a commitment to sustainable design and construction and demonstrated this commitment through the LEED certification process for this project. Originally developed as a companion site to the LEED Platinum Alberici Headquarters Building located next door, the project was a model of a truly integrated delivery team; the owner, designer, contractor and sustainability consultant all working together from the onset to give new life to this building. Currently in the preliminary review phase of LEED Core and Shell certification, the building demonstrates superior indoor environmental quality through a careful materials selection process and the expansive use of natural daylighting.
