Centocor Biologics, LLC

This 46,000 square foot commercial “fit out” did not start out being green. The original designers of this project did not consider LEED certification.  However, Johnson & Johnson, the owners of Centocor BioLogics, are very committed to environmental improvements of all of their facilities. Vertegy worked with Centocor and Johnson & Johnson to provide a strategy to improve the level of sustainability in the original design and specifications to deliver a LEED certified commerical interior space. As the team began to work on applying the strategies developed by Vertegy, they found with little effort and no additional cost, they could elevate the LEED status from Certified to Silver.
