This 46,000 square foot commercial “fit out” did not start out being green. The original designers of this project did not consider LEED certification. However, Johnson & Johnson, the owners of Centocor BioLogics, are very committed to environmental improvements of all of their facilities.

As the team began to work on applying the strategies developed by Vertegy, they found with little effort and no additional cost they could elevate the LEED status from Certified to Silver.

ServicesVertegy worked with Centocor to provide a strategy to improve the original design and specifications to deliver a LEED certified commercial interior space. Services included LEED design integration and consultation, teaming charrettes, documentation, coordination and submission, energy modeling and lighting design.
