This building is the focal point of St. Louis Community College’s new West County Campus and can serve up to 2,500 students with "smart classroom" technologies and expansive daylighting and views from the classrooms, offices and commons. The project also features a multipurpose room for College and community activities, recharging stations for electric/hybrid vehicles, water conserving fixtures, and a large pond for stormwater retention and treatment. In addition, Vertegy's consulting services to the Construction Manager helped the project divert over 95% of construction and demolition waste from local landfills.

ServicesAs LEED consultant to the Construction Management firm, Vertegy provided site personnel training, as well as preparation and implementation of management plans for LEED design and construction integration. Vertegy also served as the LEED consultant to the owner, providing coordination and management of the LEED submission documentation for certification.
